FAQs

Q. Do I need to take a prior appointment for my health check-up?
Health check-ups at Jupiter Hospital are done from Monday to Saturday with prior appointments only. Any cancellations of appointment should be intimated 24 hours in advance.

Q. What is the way of payment?
Payments can be done by Cash or Credit / Debit card only.

Q. How much time will it take for a complete check up?
The approximate time for the completion of the entire package is approximately 6 hours.

Q. What time do I need to come for a health check?
You need to arrive at the counter for registration at the allotted time, usually by 7.30 am in the morning.

Q. Do I need to fast prior to the tests?
For blood and urine tests you require fasting for a minimum of 12 hours. When you report in the morning you should be fasting however, you may be allowed to drink water if needed.

Q. Can I take my morning medications?
Do not take any medications the day you come for a check-up in the morning; carry your medications along. You can take them after you have had your blood samples taken. Carry your hearing aid, stick, dentures, and spectacles if you wear any.

Q. Will I need to bring my medical records with me?
Yes. You need to bring all your earlier medical records (last one year) when you come for the check up.

Q. Can I get other additional tests done along with the health check-up package?
Yes. You can get additional investigations done; other than mentioned in the package. You are entitled to 30% discount on in-house radiology / pathology investigations.

Q. Can I get these tests done if I am pregnant?
If you are pregnant or you think you could be, please inform the doctor before undergoing any tests.

Q. When will I get my reports?
You will get all your reports on the same day of the tests, except a few that may take a longer time. Reports such as PAP smear, mammography etc. will be couriered to you along with the specialist’s opinion.

Q. Will there be someone to guide me with respect to my reports?
You will see a physician / cardiologist / gynecologist as per your package preference. Once most of your reports are ready, one of these doctors will counsel you on your reports on the same day. If required he/she may suggest a specialized consultation on the basis of report evaluation and physical examination.
