He has expertise in Living Donor, Split Liver, Paediatric and Cadaver Liver Transplantation and has also performed many complex and rare liver surgeries with over 96% success rate. Performed many complex and rare liver surgeries. Instrumental in setting up liver transplant programs in other centres across the country and internationally. Pioneered many new innovations in liver surgery and transplantation.

- Worked as a Director of Liver Surgery and Liver transplantation at Lakeshore hospital.
- Worked as a Consultant in the unit of Liver Transplantation at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi

- Was instrumental in setting up Liver transplant programs at various centers across the country and abroad prominent one’s being Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore Pakistan, and at Karachi where he was invited multiple times to perform transplant surgeries and to train the local surgeons.
- Over 15 years of experience in liver surgery.
- During the Covid 19 Pandemic, Dr Abhishek Yadav led Comprehensive Liver Care Institute-VPS Lakeshore Hospital, matched global standards by successfully performing 120 Living Donor Liver Transplants with a stupendous 94% success rate! Among them were 10 Children, 15 post-COVID patients and 3 patients who required critical multi-organ transplants.
- Dr Abhishek is a founder member of the Indian Liver Transplant Society and a Life Member of the International Liver Transplant Society, Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Association of surgeons of India (ASI).
- He is also a member of the International Hepato-Pancreato Biliary Association (IHPBA) and the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS).
