He is an expert in using endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques in treating all kinds of spinal problems like disc herniations , canal stenosis , spondylolisthesis , infections , tumors and deformity involving cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He is renowned nationally and internationally in the field of endoscopic spine surgery and invited as a an esteemed faculty to give talks, perform live surgeries and to conduct cadaver training workshops for orthopedic as well neurosurgeons who are interested in learning spine endoscopy.
Dr. Lokhande is also an expert in spinal deformity correction procedures like scoliosis , kyphosis, adult degenerative spinal deformity and other complex spinal problems like vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, artificial disc replacement and management of rheumatoid affections of the spine are other specialised procedures routinely performed by him.
