- Dr. Sathe started the Angioplasty program in N M Wadia Institute of Cardiology, headed Cardiology department of Joshi Hospital for several years and has been associated with Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital right from the inception of the hospital. He was the Director of Cardiology at DMH developing and expanding the unit over 24 years, making it one of the Premium Cardiology Units in India.
