About

Dr Tejas Hambir is a Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician with more than 12 years of experience. He completed in MBBS from Govt Medical College Yavatmal and later his DNB (Pediatrics) and Fellowship In Neonatology from Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad. He was Silver Medalist in Fellowship exit exam. Later on he was selected for Neonatal Fellowship at prestigious John Radcliffe Hospitals in Oxford University where he completed 2 years fellowship which included management of extremely critical neonates  and their retrieval. He later worked at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester University as Senior Neonatal Fellow. He has the experience of working 2 of the biggest and busiest Neonatal units in United Kingdom.


He worked as Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician at Surya Mother and Child Hospital, Pune for 2 years as well as at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad for 4 years before moving back to Pune during which he has managed extreme preterm babies, severe PPHN requiring HFOV, iNO as well as complex surgical and non surgical neonates too. He was responsible and heading the transport team where sick ventilated babies were retrieved from as far as 250kms.  Dr Tejas Hambir is a National Faculty for Basic and Advance NRP as well as for Neonatal Simulation. He is trained in Neonatal Functional Echocardiography as well as a trainer for POCUS and a passionate teacher. He is well versed with all neonatal and paediatric procedures.
